Zach likes the water. At least he likes it in his tub and in the wading pool where he can sit and splash around. He gets a little nervous in water he can’t sit in…We decided to take Zach to swimming lessons. We do know he’s not physically capable of swimming, but we own a boat.
Water safety is pretty key if he’s going to be out there with us, and that’s what they teach. They have been teaching him to not panic and be comfortable in the water. Eventually he’ll learn to actually swim. At this point I think the lessons are more fun for me than for him, but he smiled a lot at his 4th lesson so he’s coming around.
