It got warm quick here in New Hampshire, and summer seems to be early this year. Lots of 80-ish days pre-Memorial day is unusual! Not that I’m complaining, we’re taking advantage of it every chance we get, but there are new worries that come with the nice weather. Bugs for one. Believe it or not, Zack has had not one but TWO ticks on him already!! We’ve survived, but bug spray has become a top priority. Next is sun screen of course. With a squirmy baby, trying to apply lotion is like adding gasoline to a fire. Suddenly he’s not only squirmy, he is slippery and I can’t keep him in one place to get the darn stuff on! Spray sun screen is the weapon of choice from now on. Finally, we have to keep cool; Since the lakes are too cold for swimming yet, the hose is a good substitute.
