Zachary’s Christmas

Like a true 4-5 month old Zachary enjoyed Christmas minute to minute. He excitedly watched us set up a Christmas tree, then lost interest. When it came time to take down the tree, he watched with interest and then seemed to look for the tree for a few hours, until he forgot it was ever here. Continue reading →

Shiny stuff and paper, A blog from Zach’s perspective.

12/25/09:

Today was a strange day. First when I got out of bed mommy and daddy made me put on this funny hat. Then they started showing me these things and making me pull on little pieces of paper. THEN mommy made me put on a pair of pants and sweater. Usually she lets me stay in my jammies all day, and I like jammies a lot better than these pants!

After that things seemed normal for a little while, but then some people were here. My aunts and uncles came and my grandparents. They all had more of these boxes wrapped in paper. I like the paper, and pulling on it, and rolling around on it, but then I got bored with that.

My nose was stuffy and I was really tired so mommy put me back in jammies let me take a nap, but when I woke up, all those people were still here, and they played with me, and there were new toys. I can’t figure out where all the new toys came from. I enjoyed playing with all those people, and the new toys. I especially like this ribbon toy.  But then I was hungry and tired.

Finally all those people disappeared and daddy fed me and put me to bed. Boy that day was fun, but it sure was confusing too!
